Meet the Chef

Hi, I’m Chris Savage — the chef behind Savy’s Food Truck. My love for cooking started when I was a kid, helping my grandma in the kitchen, carefully pressing fork marks into peanut butter cookies like it was the most important job in the world.

That childhood spark turned into a real passion. After graduating in 2015 from ECC, I began my culinary career and spent nearly a decade working my way up at Forest Hills Country Club — from intern to Interim Executive Chef. I’ve done just about every job in the kitchen, working long days, late nights, and non stop hustle - I’ve learned by doing and earning every step.

My wife Kara and I built this dream from the ground up. We worked hard, saved every penny, and in July 2024, we finally took the leap and launched Savy’s Food Truck. It’s just the two of us behind everything you see — bringing bold, honest food, and a whole lot of heart to our community.
