We’re Chris and Kara Savage, the husband-and-wife team behind Savy’s Food Truck- small but mighty kitchen on wheels built from scratch with a whole lot of hustle, heart, and flavor!

A little over two years ago, we put a purple food truck on the road and took a chance on ourselves. We had no idea just how much Savy’s would grow — or how much our lives would change because of it. 💜

In August 2025, we made one of the biggest decisions we’ve ever made: we went FULL TIME with the truck AND our catering.

We took the leap, bet on ourselves, and haven’t looked back since!

Since then, Savy’s has grown into so much more than just a food truck. What started with weekend events has turned into full-time catering, weddings, bridal showers, private chef parties, employee events, drop-off catering, festivals, and so much more.

And behind all of it is still just us.

Every week looks a little different, but one thing never changes — we’re in it together. From creating menus and prepping food to answering messages, planning events, cooking, loading the truck, setting up, serving, cleaning up, and everything in between… there’s a whole lot that goes into making Savy’s happen.

We both wear a lot of hats. We both get our hands dirty. We both cook. We both taste-test. We both make desserts. 😂 And we’ve learned along the way that building a business together is one of the hardest, craziest, and most rewarding things we could have ever done.

Still just the two of us.

Still doing it ourselves.

Still making food from scratch.

But now, this is our full-time life.

And we’re not stopping here.

Savy’s is currently under expansion, and there’s a lot happening behind the scenes that we can’t wait to share with you. 👀💜

We’re growing, dreaming bigger, and finding new ways to bring Savy’s to more people — while staying true to what got us here in the first place: good food, hard work, and the people who continue to show up for us.
